    Swaffham Wind Turbine

    • Built in 1999 - 220ft (67 metres) Tall  - The only wind turbine in the UK to have a viewing platform at the top which was open to the public. It was accessed by an internal spiral staircase consisting of 305 step. Sadly, it closed to the public in 2018.  I went up it in July 2017. You could see Ely cathedral some 25 miles away (as the crow flies).

    St Mary's Church, Houghton-on-the-Hill

    • St Mary's Church stands on a hill overlooking the valley of the River Wissey. It is the last remaining building of the lost village of Houghton-on-the-Hill. The church is just outside North Pickenham, near Swaffham, Norfolk, UK.
